Vegetable oil

Vegetable oil is oil obtained from seeds or other plant sources, which largely consists of esters of glycerol and fatty acids. She is also known as fatty oils to distinguish essential oil.

Some species, such as olive oil, can be directly consumed by humans, while others, such as rape, should be processed first. Not all vegetable oils are used for consumption: the castor oil is used as an additive to lubricating oil, of linseed oil and linoleum is made and all kinds of oils used as fuel. Some vegetable oils are solid at room temperature and are therefore actually a vegetable fat.
